3 1/2 months old - latest update

Sorry I haven't updated recently - been really busy! But here are a few pictures of me over the last 3 1/2 months.

This is me at 2 hours. Mum is a little poorly so we are staying in hospital for a few days.

I'm here and Mum and Dad have called me Toby William

The Final Countdown!!

Well we're into the final few weeks before I arrive into the world. As you can see from this picture I'm growing quite nicely!

Mummy and Daddy are both very excited. The nursery is almost ready for me. As you can see Daddy and Grandad worked hard getting it clear!

Mummy wants me to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to the Baby Shower a few days ago. The presents were just fantastic and it was good fun!

Everyone's prayers are as ever really appreciated for my safe arrival, and also that Mummy's back would get better soon. Look forward to seeing you all really soon.

5 and a half months in!

Greetings friends! My apologise for not updating my blog until now, but my schedule has just been chocker! Included in my days are much sleeping, eating and keeping mummy awake at night whilst I practice my kick-boxing! In between these activities I have been interrupted by those who wanted to take my photo as you can see above. These pictures were taken at 3 weeks ago when I was 22 weeks old. As you can see from the one above, I was busy sucking my thumb when I began to be prodded. Despite desperately trying to hide my modesty, the nurse managed to catch an image of my manhood, confirming that I am indeed a boy! My parents are very excited about this, they certainly talk to me a lot, generally telling me off for kicking - this is not my fault by the way, it seems I have inherited my dad's legs! - and also giving me updates on the cricket - come on you Sharks!! Being a McIlroy I rose to the occasion to show off for the camera, kicking, wriggling and yawning for all to see.



"These boots were made for walking!" I know these pictures are not clear but this one shows the bottom of my feet - how cute am I?!

This is me doing my impression of the Emperor from Star Wars. If you look carefully you can see my nose and mouth, the rest of my face is shrouded in darkness.

Well, the next photos seen of me will probably be taken after I arrive officially but I will certainly try to keep the blog updated with any developments. Thank you for taking the time to read my update and also thanks to everyone who left comments last time, they made me smile.

Welcome to my blog!

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Baby McIlroy (long-term name to be advised)! I am currently 21 weeks old but still cosying it out in mummy's tummy. The picture above was taken when I was 12 weeks old. I am considerably bigger now. I am due to be born in January 2006, although it will probably all depend on how I feel at the time! My gender is still unconfirmed but has been speculated to be male by a doctor!

This Blog will be my journey into the world, my first experiences before and after my first breath. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I am. Your comments would be appreciated although I'm sure you can imagine my days are pretty full and I may not be able to respond to all my fanmail. I will have my assistant read them all!
